Columbia River Journey
50 million years ago, the continents shifted and the story of the Columbia River began. The water highway into the Pacific Northwest, the Columbia inspired Lewis & Clark to race across the American West, and David Thompson to cross the Rocky Mountains. Revelstoke has been part of this incredible story since the time of the Fur Trade. The characters that lived and worked on the river are as legendary as the river itself.
Come, travel the river and hear the stories. Enjoy a gentle 1-hour float trip featuring costumed actors, and piloted by certified raft guides. FREE TRIP PHOTOS and freshly-baked snacks for an unforgettable trip of a lifetime!

Arrive 15 minutes before your trip start time at 621 Victoria Road, Revelstoke. It's best to dress in clothes suitable for the weather. We provide water-resistance jackets to put over your clothes and a PFD (lifejacket). Our historical characters (actors) welcome you aboard our classic school bus for a short 10-minute shuttle to the river. At the river, take a short walk to the spectacular Moses Creek waterfall; then it's time to get on the raft! As we float, you meet several historical characters and learn their fascinating stories. The trip finishes at the Trans-Canada Highway bridge, with a tasty snack while we load the rafts. Then it's a quick 3-minute shuttle back to the Rafting House.
